Commissioning a CPT System
1.
Activate the CTP Self-Test
Energise the fittings for 16 hours to fully charge the battery then perform this switching sequence on all circuits containing emergency Lighting.

This will put all fittings into an immediate discharge test and start the 182 day test timer that is built into each CTP fitting.
NOTE: If you are upgrading a site we do not recommend activating the self-test until all fittings on site are CTP compatible.
2.
CTP Activated Flash
The activation is successful when all exit signs and emergency lights on each circuit illuminate in emergency mode. The initial commissioning test will run for 130 minutes.
The LED charge indicator of activated CTP fittings will display a “CTP Activated” fast green flash followed by a status indication in a constant repeating cycle.

3.
Complete a log book entry in CleverSparky
The final process in commissioning is to complete a log book entry in CleverSparky to record the results of the 120 min commissioning test.
Select your site in the CleverSparky Mobile app, enter the Logbook section and create a new Logbook entry.

3.
Indication of Passed Test
For 5 days following the test the fittings will display this indication in a repeating cycle to indicate a passed test.

If you don’t make it to site within the first 5 days the fittings will revert to this “Standby” mode which also indicates a passed test.

4.
Quick Collect Results
Select your Logbook then choose “Quick Collect Results” to mark a result against each luminaire.

Select fittings one at a time or “Select All” to mark results in bulk

Select “Pass fittings”, enter the “Next Test Date” (NB: This field auto-populates with 182 days from today, adjust if required)
Update the test duration to 120min, then save.

5.
Finishing Touches
After collecting the results, head to cleversparky.com where you can upload the site plans and produce the commissioning test report.

Add your Business logo, contact details, signature and compliance statement for a professional touch.

6.
Handover to Client
From the “Site Details” menu you can transfer site ownership to the client. Enter their email and send!

The client can then “Accept” the transfer to move this site database into their CleverSparky account.
